Samples of Our Music

Thula Sizwe have produced six albums, of which the last three are still in circulation.

The group just released an entirely new CD, full of music from the fall 2005 tour and with a new arrangement of a hymn that is making the rounds of American churches. If you are familiar with Thuma Mina, you'll love our arrangement. See below to order.

(1989) Ukuhlala No Jesu [To Live with Christ]
(1993) Living Wage
(1996) Shine Africa, Shine
(1999) In This World
(2001) The Great Healer
(2006) Dudu Wami [Come Back My Love]

In This World includes such hits as "The Lion Sleeps Tonight," and "Shosholoza", which is the recording played at practically every soccer match in South Africa. It also has the title track, "In This World" which you heard paired with "Amazing Grace" if you attended one of their recent concerts. Koti Prinsloo calls this their party CD. The Great Healer is more spiritual, containing songs of praise and devotion in Zulu and English. The group sang several songs from this CD, including "U Jesu Wamu," "Amazing Grace," and "Siyabonga Ivangeli." Dudu Wami is also spiritual, and contains the incredibly moving arrangement combining Amazing Grace and Abel's own composition In This World that features in every one of our 2007 concerts.

CDs are available at concerts. You can also purchase CDs the old fashioned way, by mail, for shipment to US addresses. CDs cost $20 each plus $3 shipping for 1-4 CDs and $6 for 5-8 CDs. For purchases of over 10 CDs, there is no shipping charge. To purchase In This World, The Great Healer, or Dudu Wami, please send a letter indicating your order and a check payable to
